To open the Statistics window, click the statistics button at the bottom of the Deck Editor or Deck Builder screen. |
Note: There is also a statistics button on the Collection screen. However, that Statistics window is completely unlike the one described here. See Collection for more information.
The Statistics window has three tabs:
The Analysis tab has information about the colors, types, and mana costs of the cards that make up the current deck.
The Probabilities tab lets you see how likely it is that you'll draw a particular card or type of card in the first ten turns of a game when playing the current deck.
The Format tab shows you which Constructed formats the current deck is legal in. This tab is only on the Deck Editor screen Statistics window.
To close the Statistics window, click the close button ()
in the upper right corner. You can also minimize the window by clicking
the minimize button (
)
in the upper right corner. To restore the minimized window, click the blue
bar along the bottom of the screen that says Statistics.
Spells by Color & Cards by Type
The pie chart on the left shows what colors of cards make up your deck.
White, blue, black, red, and green cards are shown as slices of those colors.
Also, multicolored cards are shown in gold, lands in orange, and artifacts
in brown. The labels show the percentage of the deck made up of cards of
each color.
The pie chart on the right shows what types of cards make up your deck. The labels show what type of card each slice is and the percentage of the deck made up of that type of card.
Mana Curve
The Mana Curve chart shows you how many cards are in the deck
with different converted mana costs. The numbers along the bottom are the
converted mana costs. The number by Avg. Cst is the average converted
mana cost of cards in the deck.
Colored Mana Symbols on Spell Cards
The Colored Mana Symbols on Spell Cards chart shows how many
times each colored mana symbol appears in the mana costs of cards in the
deck.
On the Probabilities tab, you can see how likely it is that you'll
draw a specific card, combination of cards, or type of card by a certain
turn. The chart along the bottom will change as you add or remove items
from the box on the window.

To see the chance of drawing a type of card by a certain turn, click one of the buttons along the top of the box. These buttons from left to right are land, artifact, creature, sorcery, instant, and enchantment. |
To see the chance of drawing a specific card by a certain turn, drag the card from the Deck window to the box on the Probabilities tab. If you drag another card into the box, you'll see the odds of drawing both cards by a certain turn. For example, if you drag Llanowar Elves to the window, the chart will how likely you are to draw a Llanowar Elves card by a certain turn. If you then drag Grizzly Bears to the box, you'll see the probability of drawing a Llanowar Elves and a Grizzly Bears.
Buttons
You can use the buttons on the right of the tab to modify the set of
cards you want to draw.
Select a card or card type in the box and click the Add 1 button to increase the number of that item. For example, if you have two Llanowar Elves in the box, select Llanowar Elves and click Add 1 to see how likely it is that you'll draw three Llanowar Elves.
Use the Or button to see the chance of drawing at least one of two different cards by a certain turn. Say you want to see the chance of drawing either a Llanowar Elves or a Grizzly Bears by a certain turn. Drag Llanowar Elves into the box, click Or, then drag Grizzly Bears into the box.
The Delete button removes one of the selected items from the box. If there's more than one of an item listed, the number will go down by one. If there's only one, the item is removed completely.
The Probabilities tab automatically recalculates percentages when you change what's in the box. However, if you change the cards in your deck while the Probabilities tab is open, you need to click the Recalculate button to update the percentages.
Use the Clear All button to remove everything you've added to
the box on the Probabilities tab.
Format
The bottom section of the Format tab lists the restricted and
banned cards for the different Constructed formats.
